As a college graduate, my skills extend way beyond the classroom.
I have managed the social media sites for two different non-profit organizations. They have increased exposure to the outside world as well as their own organization.
Carroll’s Hundred- a nonprofit organization that maintains the grounds of a historic landmark in Maryland- was a slave site in Baltimore, Maryland. I helped out the organization preparing press kits with press releases, bios, fact sheets, etc.
Teen Moms Friends Club- a nonprofit organization started by a teen mom herself. They help teen parents by giving them information, education, guidance, and opportunities to become better parents. I, with the help of my fellow peers, helped increase Twitter followers by almost 200% in 2 months.
